I am going to Germany

So Making Memories has decided to send myself and my co-worker, Audre, to Germany. Wow, I am so excited. We are going to demonstrate our new digital diecutting matchine, the Slice, at one of our distributor's booths at the Paper World show in Frankfurt.

Here is my mom & Oliver playing with it at Christmas. It's a pretty cool little machine. Oliver is 4 and was able to practically use it himself. A couple times he was telling Grandma how to use it.

Paper World is 4 days long. Then after the show, Audre & I are taking some personal time and staying in Germany for 4 more days. We are going to Heidelberg. Then to Munich to see the famous castle Neuschwanstein, Daucahu, and exploring the city. Last we will go to Salzburg, Austria. This is where Sound of Music was filmed. I've heard great things about this town. It will be a great time. It's coming up quickly. I leave Jan. 29 & come back Feb. 9.

This is Neuschwanstein. It's so beautiful. I can't wait to see it in person.

While I am gone, Caleb is going to use his Christmas present from me. I got him tickets to NY to the NY Comicon show. His friends are going to be there and have a booth to promote their company. www.zerofriends.com Alex Pardee is the artist, and they promote him and sell t-shirts & prints of his work. He's such an amazing artist.

Here is one of his illustrations. It was shown at his "Letters from Undigested Children" art show at Upper Playground in San Francisco.

It's going to be a good time for both of us. We can't wait for both of our adventures. I just wish we could go on them both together.

Jealousy! I love Germany (have a brat for me) and I LOVE Salzburg! So beautiful! Mike and I actually went on the Sound of Music tour and it was a lot of fun. Even though the city is quaint and beautiful you get to go out of the city and into the mountains and all of the little mountain towns. Have fun!!! Who knew that working for a scrapbook co. could take you to so many fun places......awesome!

That sounds like the best trip ever! Maria says "she needs to get a job like that." We will pass on January FMOM, and then pick up in Feb when you come back. It will be great to see all the pictures.
