Lily is now 5 months. She is growing so much. Here are some fun things about Lily at 5 months:
-we have started her on rice cereal. She doesn't eat very much each time, but she seems to like it alright. Sometimes she will open her mouth for you to feed her.
-She loves walks...I just don't know what we are going to do in the dead of winter. Sometimes I wish we moved somewhere that is always warm :) Here she is on a brisk day all bundled up. Cute hat made by my friend from Making Memories, Amy.
-she is really good with her hands. Always watching them move and grabbing things. She loves to grab faces, and she can finally reach the butterflies on her jungle thing
-she might have to get one of those baby helmets to reshape her head. She has a flat spot. ahhh....I am kind of broken up about this. We have an appointment with a specialist next month. We will see what they say. I really hope she doesn't have to wear one. I don't think she will like it at all.
-she has the cutest smile...but it's nearly impossible to get it on camera. Here is a little smile...
-she is getting ticklish and will laugh when you tickle her
-that sleeping thing I mentioned in her 4 month post....hmmm...it has gone away. She usually only sleeps for 3-4 hours at night at a time anymore. She used to sleep for 8 hour spans. :(
-she LOVES her dad. She gets the biggest grin on her face when he talks to her.
-She eats her toes
-her hair...what do we do with her hair. It's so cute!
-she loves watching Bear. She reaches for his tail and ears. She has gotten a hold of them a couple times. Bear isn't too happy about it. But he is learning to keep more of a distance.
-we just love her so much. Not a day goes by when we don't say she is sooo cute. We are so grateful to have her.
-she is 12.1 pounds.

5 months went by so FAST! That Lily is darling. I really like the photo of her sucking on her toes, her eyes are amazing. Sorry about the possible helmet. Can you lay her on her side so she is not on the flat part? Maybe prop her with some blankets so she can't roll to her back. We had to do that with Lottie and it helped a ton. Cross my fingers for ya!
She is such a doll!! We need to get together soon!
she's getting so big!! dont worry about the helmet. its so common now. i've had a lot of friends that their kids had it but didnt have to wear it for that long.
HOlden would be very jealous of that pic of Lily eating her foot. he still tries to do it and gets mad when he cant

I totally had a dream about you last night!! I dreamed you lived in London and I came to visit you. I know...random...Maybe its a sign we need to talk more :). Your baby is adorable!!
