Bear & Lily

I tried to get a good photo of Bear and Lily together, but wasn't very successful. Surprisingly...Bear was the one cooperating here. I need to work on my baby posing skills. She is kind of in the shadows here. Bear & Lily weigh about the same in this picture. Lily is 2 weeks old and Bear is about 2 years old. Bear weighs 6 1/2 lbs. Lily weighs about 6 lbs. 12 oz.




We had several people tell us when we had Lily that we would start to hate our dog. I am happy to say...that isn't true. We still really love Bear and think he is oh so adorable. He has calmed down a bit since Lily was born. I think he's more tired. He doesn't get as much sleep as he used to. He worries about her and checks on her when she is crying....but still keeps his distance from her (for the most part). I think when we first brought Lily home that he was kind of sad. He knew things had changed and he wasn't sure what to think about it. Lily is okay with Bear too. She doesn't even flinch when he barks. I think they will grow up to be friends.
