My Birthday

It was my birthday on Friday. I turned 31. I can't believe it. I can't believe I am in my 30's....crazy. I don't feel 30. But I don't feel 19 either...maybe 25...that's a good age.

My birthday kind of snuck up on me this year. I have been so consumed with being pregnant and getting ready for this baby to come that I didn't really think a lot about my birthday. It was Caleb's brother Trevor's graduation. So we went to his graduation and then went to Chuck E. Cheese with all the grand kids and family after the graduation. Then Caleb and I headed into SLC. I ran a couple errands, we stopped by the mall for a couple things and then we went to the Melting Pot for dinner. It was so delicious!!!! But they give you way too much food. We were instantly in food comas. We were going to go to movie after dinner, but decided going to bed after our 2 hour fondue dinner sounded better. (hmmm....maybe that's a sign that I am in my 30's. Choosing bed over a movie.)

Caleb got me this painting for my birthday. It's been at the store for a couple weeks and I have wanted it since I first saw it. So I am very excited to say it's mine.

The artist is a local artist, Emily Hart-Wood. She actually went to high school with Caleb.

Happy 31st Hillary!

When Ben and I got to the Melting Pot we only get cheese, salad, and dessert. That fills us up really fast.

I saw this artist featured on Blonde Grizzly's FB page, I really like her work. Crazy talented.

Sounds like a good birthday. A new baby even planning for one does consume your time. Glad you had a good day
