I have seen this on Ali Edwards' blog for many years. I love the concept. You think of One Little Word to keep in your heart/mind for the whole year. Something that you want to represent the year or something you want to change in the year. Something that means something to you for the whole year.
Savor...this is my one little word for 2011. This word fits perfectly for the stage of life I am in right now.
I need to...
SAVOR...the time I have right now with just Caleb & Myself.
SAVOR...every moment with my newborn in April/May (depending on when she comes). They grow up so fast and I want to SAVOR each moment, each stage in life.
SAVOR...all of the learning we are getting from running a store.
SAVOR...each piece of art and be inspired by all of the artists that come through the store
SAVOR...my job. Oh how lucky I am to work from home & love what I do.
SAVOR...my friendships. Life gets busy and I definitely don't get to see enough of them, but every moment I get with them I want to SAVOR.
SAVOR...my family. They always love you no matter what. I love this about family. Love having them as a constant in my life.
SAVOR, SAVOR, SAVOR each moment. That is what I want to do this year. So many little moments that are so important have gone forgotten because they haven't been savored. I can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for me & my little family. So many exciting adventures await us.
