Cindy's Art Show & a Snake

Last weekend I went to my friend Cindy's art show with my sister Ashley. It's always fun to see her stuff. She is so talented. The show was at the Masonic Temple downtown. We got to take a tour of it. It's a very neat building, built in 1927. The architectural details are beautiful. After the tour we looked at all the exhibits. There was a lot going on at the art show. Lots of different artists to look at. There was even a guy with a snake and tarantula. I got my picture with the snake, but I was too afraid of the tarantula to get a picture.

This might be a long comment. . .

For a late birthday present, a friend gave me a delightful paper cutting with a Harry Potter quote. When I called her a few days ago to figure out how she did it, she told me about a fantastic blog by a girl who does amazing paper cuts.

So then I looked the blog up, scrolled through a few entries and found a picture of YOU! I nearly fell off my chair!

It makes me love my HP cutting even more -- since the designer is a friend of yours!

And I'm quite impressed you held that snake!
