Mackay

Mackay reservoir was Caleb's grandpa's favorite place to go. He would spend a lot of his summers there with grandma Laura. They would fish and relax and enjoy themselves. We went up there for a weekend to do some fishing and to remember grandpa. We borrowed my parents trailer and it was so nice to have a bed and a nice place to relax. Grandma Laura met us up there. So did Corine & Trevor. We fished (and we got skunked...which is unheard of at Mackay. We always catch fish there. Trevor caught 1 fish and Laura caught 1.) We brought Lily and Bear with us too. They both did really good.









Corine had a rock engraved and they took it up on top of a hill to leave there in memory of grandpa.

An afternoon with Mindy

Mindy was in town, so Lily and I met up with her & Cali. We got lunch at the lunch trucks at the Gallivan Center. We tried the sandwhich and the Torta truck. It was really good. Then we headed up to Red Butte Gardens. It was so fun to see Mindy. It felt like she still lived here in Salt Lake. It was fun to catch up and see how much Cali had grown.

This weekend we took on a big project. We repainted our deck. It was a lot of work, but we got it done and it looks great. Thanks to Caleb's brother & his wife...Trevor & Stacie. We couldn't have done it without them.

Lily is 3 months

I can't believe it. She is already 3 months old. Wow! 3 months is when I go back to working full time. So we are adjusting to a new schedule, but I think it will work out great. We love having Lily around so much...and she is changing so much. She can hold her head up by herself now. She loves standing....with help. She isn't rolling over quite yet, but it's going to be soon. She rolls to her sides. She is smiling more and more, and I think I got a laugh out of her last week. I haven't been able to get another one, but we are working on it. Maybe I just need to be more funny :)
