Caleb went to Comic-Con last weekend to get connected with some more artists for the store. He had a great time and said it was the best people watching ever.

Baby Henry!

Hooray! Baby Henry has arrived. He is so adorable. Caleb and I went to Logan on Wednesday, the day after he was born. And I headed up there for the weekend last weekend. It was so great to hang out with Melanie's new little family. Baby Henry was so sweet.

...but I got hit on working at the store this weekend.



He was deaf. As soon as I wrote "we have the store together" he just smiled and waved at me and walked out. I couldn't stop laughing! I guess sometimes you don't want to waste you time...it only takes 2 questions.

Blonde Grizzly Art Gallery Opening

The food for the show was amazing by Chef Shawn Bucher. He did a fruit tray, cheese tray (wasabi cheese, champagne cheese, cheddar cheese and muenster), and a saturday morning tray with cereal & pop tarts.

Jessica

My friend Jessica came over to my house yesterday to help me out with some stuff. It was so great to see her. We went to school together and even though she just lives in Salt Lake, I haven't seen her in at least 4 years. We keep in touch through e-mail, but I haven't seen her in person in forever. It was so much fun to see her.

I don't really know what is going on here, but here we are yesterday.

We have been busy....

Salt Lake does a concert series in the summer that is totally free called the Twilight Concert Series. We have a booth there for July & August. Every Thursday night. Modest Mouse played last Thursday. It was crazy! There were over 40,000 people at the show. Our store got a lot of exposure and people are excited about what we have.

You can almost see the stage at the other end of this sea of people. The park was packed. It took forever to get from point A to point B.

Open for business

We got our business license yesterday afternoon! We are going to be open for business today. We still have some projects we are working on in the store, but nothing huge. So stop by if you are downtown. Bear is even coming today!
